Multiple Culinary Arts Programs Offered At The Chicago Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago

The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago offers many Culinary Arts programs. Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts, as well as Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking. In addition to the Culinary Arts programs, we offer a variety of general education courses designed to produce well-rounded citizens and employees. The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago is devoted to fostering a lifelong love of learning and holding students to high academic standards.

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts
The objective of the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program is to give you the opportunity to gain the expertise necessary to enter the food service industry in entry to mid-level positions with continued career advancement opportunities. You can learn skills that can be applied in variety of positions in food service operations from prep cooks to personal chefs. Our AAS degree program combines coursework in three areas: culinary, baking and pastry and management. Plus, you can gain real world experience at the CHIC Café, our student-run restaurant! Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking
The objective of Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking Program is to provide students with the opportunity to learn the theories and techniques of the profession. Graduates should be prepared for high volume baking production or for positions at establishments with an in-house baking and pastry operation. Certificate in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts
The objective of the Certificate Program in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts is to provide students with the principles and techniques of professional culinary arts production. You can gain the foundation and technical skills necessary for a career in the food service industry. You have the opportunity to learn sanitation and public health requirements, knife skills and basic cooking techniques, and baking and pastry concepts. In addition, you can test your skills at our student-run restaurant and through an externship in a professional environment. Housing Information

The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago works with Collegiate Housing Services (CHS) to offer comfortable and affordable shared student housing in apartments near campus.

The typical housing configuration is a furnished, two-bedroom, one or two-bathroom apartment, with utilities paid, and shared by up to four same-gender CHIC students. In most cases, each student will share a bedroom with another student although a limited number of private bedrooms may be available at a higher cost. Each student signs an individual lease which may be tailored to the school's scholastic terms.

Collegiate Housing Services will be on campus during Registration and Orientation days to assist students in signing leases and settling into their new residences. For more information, contact CHS here.
